Creating fully functioning shopping carts with RapidSale requires only a few clicks. Shopping carts are part of our "plugs" so to create a shopping cart simply look for the "Create Plug" button that is visible in all your pages while logged in to your RapidSale account.

What is a plug?

Think of your plug as a campaign or an ecommerce channel for your product. It contains a shopping cart and all its related settings, templates, payment methods and a call to action. You attach/remove payments from a plug, switch between cart templates, setup languages, add taxes, add/remove products etc. You can also duplicate plugs.

How does it work ?

1. Add/Select your product that you wish to sell.

2. Setup your shopping cart by choosing a template and adding a payment gateway.

3. Select a call to action (button, widget, 'custom' or link)

4. Get your code and start selling!

If you choose a button, 'custom' or a widget as your call-to-action, you will be provided with an embed code that you can add on your website.

Do I need a website to use RapidSale shopping carts?

You do not need a website to use our shopping carts. When you create a plug we automatically generate a page that will host your shopping cart. You can use the URL link of that page and share it with your customers on social media, email campaigns and more.
